Caitlyn and Chad traded the hot sun of Arizona for the rugged and cool embrace of Iceland's majestic mountains and waterfalls for their elopement day. Their day started off in a remote part of the island, tucked away within the mountains in their cosy little rental camper-van. They woke up at their campsite and began getting ready for their first look, which was taking place on-site by a small waterfall a short hike away.

After their first look, they had over an hour-long drive out of the camp-site to get back onto the ring-road, where they would head to get a quick bite to eat before stopping at Reynisfjara beach for some photos. On the drive there, they pulled off to the side of the road to admire the vast landscape of Iceland's highlands.

Their ceremony took place at a hidden waterfall, which was perfect as in July, most of the famous waterfalls are busy with tourists. But they got lucky to be the only one's there to enjoy their surroundings in all of its glory, and where they could exchange their vows in private. The waterfall was so powerful and loud that nobody would hear their exchange, which was beautiful as it was truly a moment just for them.

They ended their elopement day by walking behind the waterfall where they got drenched as if some ceremonial ending to their adventure filled day.
